Developmental Edit
A developmental edit focuses on broader structural issues within the novel. It does not include editing for language, nor does it involve correcting spelling, grammar, or typos.
In addition to inline reactions and feedback, you receive a 10-20 page overview of your book in terms of:
character development
story structure
point of view
pacing
theme
plot

Book Coaching
Book coaching is more hands-on. Think of it as having a developmental editor, accountability coach, and cheerleader, all wrapped into one tidy package.
We meet regularly (dealer's choice: weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) to discuss progress on your book.
Here is what's included in each session:

Soul Care for Writers
Spiritual direction is the art of companioning people as they journey toward a deeper relationship with the Divine.
It’s one hour a month in which I hold space for YOU by offering:
deep listening
a contemplative presense
creative practices
discernment tools
meaning making
an exploration of your wild and growing edges
Join me at the intersection of creativity and spirituality.
Fee: $50 per session* (group sessions are available, with fee split amongst up to five participants)
Because I am a student and have not yet completed my certifications, my rates are below the industry standard rates set by the Editorial Freelance Association.
